Job summary

North Tampa Christian Academy in Wesley Chapel, FL is seeking a Business Manager to lead the school's financial strategy, oversee tuition communications, accounting, and human resources, and collaborate with the Principal and Conference Treasurer.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business/Management/Accounting (Master’s preferred), at least three years of relevant experience, and be a tithe-paying Adventist in good standing with excellent written and spoken communication

North Tampa Christian Academy is a rapidly growing kindergarten through twelfth-grade school with nearly 500 students. The school is located in Wesley Chapel, one of the fastest growing communities in the country. This innovative school combines the advantages of Adventist education with the latest advances in facilities design, instructional practice, technology, and entrepreneurial leadership. Instructional practices include blended learning, competency-based grading, collaborative teaching, and project-based learning.

The Business Manager is responsible for planning and executing the school’s short- and long-term financial plan in coordination with the Principal, Finance Committee, and Conference Treasurer. This person will direct all aspects of financial management, which include tuition communications, accounting, and human resources. Applicants must possess a high level of tact, friendliness, and other aspects of strongly developed interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to meet deadlines; and proven organizational and time management skills.

Required Experience

Applicant must be a tithe-paying Seventh-day Adventist church member in good standing and have the legal right to work in the United States, providing evidence if employed. A minimum of a bachelor's degree (master's preferred) in Business, Management, or Accounting/Finance and a history of successful experience in related fields (at least three years) are required. Must be a team player; have a service-oriented attitude; and be an effective communicator, possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills.
