Business Manager and Special Projects Associate to the CEO - US

Our client is a vertically integrated real estate development company based in New Jersey. They develop and build multifamily residential projects and operate as both Developer and General Contractor, allowing full control over project execution.

We are seeking an ambitious, hungry, and driven Business Manager & Special Projects Associate to the CEO to work directly alongside executive leadership. This is a rare, high-visibility "shadow" role designed to groom a future real estate leader. You will be immersed in every facet of a vertically integrated, end-to-end real estate development, general contracting, and property management organization.

This position is not about routine administrative tasks; it is about partnering with leadership on high-stakes decision-making, mastering every phase of the real estate lifecycle, and fast-tracking your career trajectory toward executive management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Side-by-Side Execution: Attend high-level meetings, site visits, and negotiations alongside leadership, acting as a trusted proxy and extension of management.
• Full-Lifecycle Real Estate Involvement: Gain hands-on exposure to land acquisition, zoning/entitlements, architectural planning, general contracting/construction operations, and asset/property management.
• Analytical & Strategic Support: Assist with financial analysis, project evaluation, quarterly reports, and presentations for investors, shareholders, and financing partners.
• Operational Problem-Solving: Jump into the field/office wherever needed - managing day-to-day operations, liaising with contractors/designers & helping drive projects to completion.
• Relationship Management: Build rapport with internal teams, external partners, contractors, and key stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Experience Level: 3-5 years of professional experience post-university. You are past the initial learning curve, a proven independent thinker, and deeply hungry for a massive career break-through.
• Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Architecture, Engineering, or a related analytical/technical discipline.
• Location: Ideally currently based in the New York / New Jersey area (e.g., Manhattan, Hoboken), though exceptional candidates currently open to relocation will be considered.
