Job summary

Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP seeks an experienced Business Litigation Counsel to join its Houston, Texas office. This is an off-track Counsel position with a reduced billable-hour requirement and no expectation for business development or firm management responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of experience as a practicing litigator in connection with complex business disputes and a strong desire to work in a fast-paced litigation practice.
• Candidates must have an excellent understanding of civil procedure, experience in taking and defending depositions, managing and/or supervising litigation cases, as well as significant court room experience.
• Must be admitted to the Texas bar or eligible for immediate admission. California licensure is a plus.
• Candidates must have excellent academic credentials and outstanding writtenand oral communication skills, including complex motion practice and interacting with clients.
