Job summary

Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP seeks a junior Business Litigation Associate to join its Houston, Texas office. The firm handles complex business disputes across the country, including major matters in Texas. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of experience as practicing litigators, with a solid grasp of civil procedure and extensive deposition and courtroom exposure.

Texas bar admission or eligibility is required; California licensure is a plus. Federal clerkship experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience as a practicing litigator in complex business disputes.
• Excellent understanding of civil procedure and experience taking/defending depositions.
• Must be admitted to the Texas bar or eligible for immediate admission; California licensure is a plus.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills, including complex motion practice and client interactions.
• Federal judicial clerkship experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years of experience as a practicing litigator in connection with complex business disputes and a strong desire to work in a fast-paced litigation practice.
• Candidates must have an excellent understanding of civil procedure, experience in taking and defending depositions, managing and/or supervising litigation cases, as well as significant court room experience.
• Must be admitted to the Texas bar or eligible for immediate admission.California licensure is a plus.
• Candidates must have excellent academic credentials and outstanding written and oral communication skills, including complex motion practice and interacting with clients.
• Federal judicial clerkship experience is preferred.
