Job summary

Mavacy PLLC is seeking an experienced Business Litigation Attorney to join our growing team. The candidate will handle diverse business litigation matters, delivering high-quality legal services to clients with strategic guidance and clear communication.

We require a JD from an accredited law school, active state bar membership, and at least 10 years of litigation experience with a track record in trial practice and dispute resolution.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the state bar and in good standing.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in litigation, preferably in a law firm setting.
• Proven expertise in trial practice, dispute resolution, and case management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of the litigation process from investigation, pleadings, and discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop case strategies and provide clients with effective legal solutions.
• Manage and resolve disputes through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation, striving for favorable outcomes for clients.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, keeping them informed about case progress and strategy.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
• Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate these risks effectively.
• Act as a staunch advocate for clients' interests in all legal matters, maintaining a strong commitment to ethical and effective representation.
• Stay abreast of changes in litigation law and industry trends to provide clients with the most current and forward-thinking legal advice.
• Work closely with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff within the firm to deliver cohesive and comprehensive legal services to clients.

Position Overview:

We are recruiting a seasoned Litigation Attorney with at least 6+ years of experience to join our dynamic legal team.
