Job summary

Dykema’s Dallas office is seeking a talented associate with 2-5 years of experience in complex litigation to join our Business Litigation practice. The ideal candidate will handle motion practice, discovery, brief writing, depositions, and witness preparation, with meaningful courtroom exposure and client interaction.

Texas bar admission is required; candidates who have managed cases end-to-end and contributed to trial preparation will thrive in our collaborative, outcome-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in complex litigation.
• Experience in motion practice, discovery, brief writing, preparing witnesses, and taking/defending depositions.
• Workload includes general business disputes, white collar defense and government investigations.
• Meaningful courtroom exposure, client interaction, and involvement in trial preparation.

Job description

Dykema’s Business Litigation practice group is seeking a talented associate with 2-5 years of experience to join our Dallas office. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in complex litigation, including substantial experience in motion practice, discovery, brief writing, preparing witnesses, and taking and defending depositions. The expected workload will be a mix of general business disputes, white collar criminal defense and government investigations work. Meaningful courtroom exposure, client interaction, and involvement in trial preparation and trial work are highly valued. We are particularly interested in candidates who have managed cases end-to-end, including fact investigation and all phases of discovery. Exceptional writing skills, confident oral advocacy, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines are essential for success in this role. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven litigator to take on sophisticated matters in a dynamic, collaborative environment. Texas bar admission is required.
