Job summary

Advocates Legal Recruiting is conducting a confidential search for an associate attorney in Dallas to support an AmLaw 100 client. The role focuses on high-stakes commercial disputes with exposure to hearings, trials, and complex discovery.

You will draft motions and briefs, manage discovery end to end, and collaborate with partners on strategic cases across energy, fiduciary, employment, privacy, antitrust, and securities matters.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited program with strong academic credentials
• Exceptional writing and advocacy skills in state and federal court preferred
• Experience with deposition, hearings, and trial is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines with partner oversight

Responsibilities

• Research and draft motions and briefs

Role Summary

Candidate Profile

• JD class years 2018–2020 from a recognized program
• Strong writing and advocacy in state and federal court
• Deposition, hearing, and trial experience helpful
• Organized, proactive, and comfortable running workstreams with partner oversight
