The Indianapolis, Indiana office of FBT Gibbons is seeking a Business Litigation Associate to join a national, full‑service firm with a strong Indiana presence. The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of experience in business litigation and be prepared to handle discovery, pleadings, and motions.

The role offers a hybrid work environment with three in‑office days and a path to leadership within a collaborative, inclusive culture. Indiana licensure or the ability to obtain licensure is required.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of business litigation experience
• Experience with written discovery, depositions, drafting pleadings and substantive motions
• Familiarity with mediations, court appearances, and assisting at trials and arbitrations
• Familiarity with the construction industry preferred
• Superior academic credentials, excellent research and writing skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Indiana licensure, or ability to timely obtain licensure

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $175,000 to $195,000, reflecting a variety of factors including experience, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, relevant experience, and other job‑related factors, consistent with applicable employment laws.

Associates Are Also Eligible For

• Quarterly and annual objective bonuses, with maximum objective bonus opportunities ranging from approximately $14,000 to $22,000 per year, depending on associate level
• Annual subjective bonus
