Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Business License Specialist to manage the license compliance lifecycle, renewals, and research. This role involves interacting with government agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance across the organization.

The position requires attention to detail, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience with License Pro or similar software is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree (Accounting or Business) required.
• 2+ years in business license or permit compliance or related field.
• Strong analytical and computer skills; Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Ambitious and self-motivated; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all license renewals and registrations are filed in a complete and timely manner.
• Ensure accurate and complete data entry in License Pro, our license compliance management software.
• Review, understand and communicate federal, state and local requirements pertaining to business licenses and permits.
• Respond to third-party notices and inquiries related to business licenses and company activities.
• Prepare and analyze data needed for license applications and renewals.
• Maintain effective communication with field finance personnel.
• Assist in the audit process as it relates to business licenses.
• Collaborate with internal teams as needed.
