JOB SUMMARY: BI Team Lead will have a significant impact on the execution of future Business Intelligence projects for the organization. You will manage a team of Qlik and Tableau/Business Objects developers and be responsible for the timely creation and distribution of BI Analytics and self-service reporting using Qlik Sense/NPrinting/Tableau/Business Objects and other BI tools. This role involves leading development, unit testing, and supporting existing SQL objects across multiple databases. The position is fundamental to implementing successful self-service analytics capabilities and creating the infrastructure for reporting and analytics needs.
JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Research, develop, and test Qlik Sense Apps and NPrinting/Tableau reports.
2. Lead end-to-end development and modification of Qlik Sense apps and reports.
3. Create and modify Pixel Perfect and Excel reports using NPrinting.
4. Design impactful layouts and presentations of key metrics for user-friendly self-service reports or apps.
5. Write complex SQL queries and create database objects like Oracle procedures, functions, packages, and views.
6. Analyze user needs and design reports, apps, and self-service tools accordingly.
7. Manage daily team tasks, allocate new tasks, and ensure timely delivery.
8. Maintain and debug code as needed.
9. Evaluate software updates for compatibility and performance improvements.
10. Coordinate cross-functional projects and interact with various organizational areas.
11. Consult with stakeholders on project status and technical issues.
12. Manage a team of software engineers on specific projects.
13. Develop and maintain project plans.
14. Communicate project requirements with other teams.
15. Track project progress against expectations.
16. Develop and evaluate staff for departmental efficiency.
