Job description

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer II to support analytics across key business workstreams such as supply chain, vendor experience, and safety & compliance. This role sits within a centralized analytics team that supports multiple cross-functional organizations and provides the insights that guide business strategy through scalable data analysis, modeling, and visualization.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, comfortable working with large-scale datasets, and excels at storytelling through data. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with product managers, engineers, and data stakeholders to design experiments, evaluate key performance indicators, and drive decision-making through data.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain performance dashboards, operational metrics, and visual reports to track business health and program impact
• Analyze large, complex datasets to uncover trends, perform root cause analysis, and provide actionable recommendations
• Conduct A/B and multivariate testing, building statistical models to measure feature or campaign effectiveness
• Support stakeholders across supply chain, marketing, safety, and vendor management with ad hoc data requests and deep dives
• Work closely with data engineers to enhance pipelines, validate metrics, and ensure accurate data availability
• Present findings to business leaders and influence strategic and tactical planning

Skills & Experience Required

• 2–4 years of experience working with large-scale datasets in a BIE, Data Scientist, or Data Engineer role
• Master’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Math, Marketing, or related quantitative field preferred
• Strong analytical mindset with experience translating business questions into data analysis plans
• Proficiency in SQL; knowledge of statistical tools such as SAS and scripting languages like Python is a plus
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across business and engineering teams
  
  

Work Environment & Team Structure

• Join a team of 13 supporting multiple business verticals through a centralized analytics model
• Engage in monthly sprint planning and weekly syncs to prioritize incoming data requests
• Assigned onboarding buddy and ramp-up plan provided; first few weeks dedicated to setup and stakeholder introductions
• Support 1–2 key data projects weekly and collaborate across product, engineering, and operations stakeholders
• Opportunity to expand scope over time by supporting additional workstreams and contributing to centralized team best practices
