Job summary

One80 Intermediaries is seeking a Sales Associate, Business Insurance Lines to join our growing team. This role supports the New Business Sales team with clerical and administrative tasks, application processing, and customer communications to help producers serve clients effectively.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in customer service or sales, insurance industry experience preferred, and a valid Property & Casualty license or the ability to obtain one within 90 days.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in customer service and/or sales.
• Insurance industry experience preferred.
• Must have or be able to obtain Property & Casualty license within 90 days.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office product suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams.

Responsibilities

• Assists producers with clerical/administrative work including post-event emails, application processing, information gathering, and special projects.
• Represents producer interests in communications with clients, carrier reps, and co-workers.
• Maintains updates and records in CRM and assists with application preparation and payment collection.
• Communicates status updates to producers and customers to meet deadlines and expectations.
• Utilizes phone system capabilities for transfers, conferencing, and multi-call handling.
• Enters endorsement requests and other customer service requests, learning BIL processes.
