Qualifications

Applicants must be within driving distance to our Lexington, KY office to be considered for this role and have the ability to commute to the office a minimum of three days per week.

A day in the life.

As an Business Insurance Client Manager, you will:

  1. Independently drive your own book or proactively involve with client team on strategy and client deliverables & meeting client expectations (including proposals, stewardship, meetings, special projects, etc.).
  2. Maintain client relationships independently or in concurrence with client team.
  3. Inform account team of any significant changes relating to the client.
  4. Prepare or review materials for discussion with client team / Producer.
  5. Negotiate rates/coverage, organize responses, and present them to the client team / Producer for review.
  6. Support account team members on any/all functions as needed.
  7. Assist other Client Managers during high volume times as needed.
  8. Execute on the deliverables as communicated by the client team.
  9. Prepare client presentations, including developing agendas and preparing documents.
  10. Attend and participate in client meetings as requested.
  11. Use tools such as Reference Connect, Playbook, MMA U effectively.
  12. Support new business and renewal processes, including gathering renewal info, performing exposure analysis, and transmitting requests.
  13. Provide general service support, including processing endorsements, performing audit reviews, and basic contract review.

We’d love to meet you if your professional experience includes:

  • 3-5 years prior experience
  • Associates / Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
  • Advanced Degree (RMIN, Finance, Accounting) a plus
  • Designations (e.g., AAI, CISR, CIC, CRM, ARM, CPCU) in progress
  • Strong organizational and task management skills
  • Ability to develop a book of business, handle smaller accounts, and manage renewal strategies
  • Proficiency in managing tools and resources, including Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Property & Casualty license or willingness to obtain within 90 days
