The Juris Agency is seeking a Business Insurance Agent (BIA) in Wheaton, IL to build a specialized commercial insurance practice within Farmers’ Agent Program. You will prospect, quote, and bind commercial lines and grow a personal book of business in collaboration with Farmers agency owners.

The role emphasizes sales-driven growth, relationship-building with business owners across industries, and working within a supportive, performance-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license is required.
• Ability to obtain appointment under Farmers guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, quote, and bind commercial insurance products including BOP, Commercial Auto, Workers’ Compensation, and Commercial Umbrella.
• Build and manage a personal book of commercial insurance clients.
• Collaborate with Farmers agency owners to support business insurance opportunities within their agencies.
• Develop relationships with business owners across multiple industries (e.g., contractors, restaurants, professional services).

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty insurance license
• Ability to obtain appointment under Farmers® guidelines
• Willingness to complete required Business Insurance Agent training within designated timelines
