The Business Information Specialist will be responsible for managing a wide range of data, analysis, and modeling tasks within the American Funds Service Group. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic and operational goals. Your role will involve utilizing research, statistical analysis, and forecasting techniques to generate insights and support decision-making.

Ideal Candidate:

• Possesses 5+ years of analytics experience with a high degree of autonomy.

• Can lead technical discussions with senior leaders to define requirements and develop solutions for complex business challenges independently.

• Navigates ambiguity effectively, using scenario planning and analysis to aid strategic decisions.

• Reliable in serving as primary or backup for critical deliverables.

• Excellent communicator, capable of presenting complex data and insights clearly and concisely.

• Strong background in business intelligence, reporting, and data transformation using tools such as Excel, SQL, R, Tableau, or Python.

• Values authenticity, respect, and engagement, influencing groups and senior stakeholders with insights.

• Comfortable working across multiple geographies, functions, and stakeholders.

Salary Range:

• San Antonio: $89,374 - $142,998
• Orange County: $108,756 - $174,010
• Indianapolis: $95,192 - $152,307

Additional compensation includes an annual performance bonus, a profitability bonus, and a retirement plan with a 15% employer contribution, subject to plan guidelines and vesting requirements.
