Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP in Washington, DC, is actively recruiting a Business Immigration Paralegal to support lawyers and timekeepers with the preparation of complex legal documents and mid-level research within the immigration practice area. The role provides leadership in firm, office, and team initiatives under management directives.

This position requires a minimum of three years of paralegal experience, including two in business immigration filings (PERM, O- and EB- categories).

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred. Paralegal certificate or certification helpful.
• Experience: Minimum three years paralegal experience with two years in business immigration filings.
• Other qualifications: strong organization, communication, and ability to work under pressure.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and finalize petitions and applications (H-1B, L-, E-2/3, TN, O-1, and dependents).
• Prepare IV and PERM applications; conduct case intake and strategy research.
• Maintain timely communications with client contacts and HR representatives.
• Monitor expiration reports and initiate renewal processes.
• Balance workload across multiple attorneys with guidance from practice advisors.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
