Job summary

Ogletree Deakins, a leading international law firm, seeks an experienced Business Immigration Paralegal for its San Diego office. Under attorney supervision, you will prepare and file visa applications, compile and analyze case facts, and maintain client documentation to support immigration matters.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree or ABA-paralegal certificate and at least 2 years of immigration paralegal experience, with proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, INSZoom, and document management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.
• 2+ years of employment-based Immigration Paralegal experience required, preferably in a large law firm environment.
• Knowledge of the NIV processes.
• Successful candidates will possess strong writing skills, excellent attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and the ability to work independently toward team goals.
• Outstanding organizational skills are required.
• Be able to multitask and work independently toward team goals.
• Strong proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, INSZoom, and document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file visa applications under attorney supervision.
• Compile and analyze case facts; draft correspondence and maintain client documentation.
• Communicate directly with multiple attorneys.
• Utilize and manage case documents in document management systems.
