Job summary

Burr & Forman LLP seeks a full-time, experienced business immigration paralegal to support the firm's immigration practice through preparation, filing, and tracking of immigration applications and petitions. The role is preferably resident in our Atlanta, GA, Bluffton, SC, Columbia, SC, or Greenville, SC offices.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree or paralegal certification and at least two years of business immigration experience, including H-1B, L-1, TN petitions and PERM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification and/or equivalent experience.
• Two years of business immigration experience including visa petitions and PERM.
• Strong writing, proofreading, and research abilities.
• Highly organized with attention to deadlines and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Prepare visa applications and petitions for business immigration cases.
• Maintain and manage case files with deadlines and status inquiries.
• Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, attorneys, and agencies.
• Draft immigration correspondence and related documents for review.
• Utilize case management and project software to track progress.
