Job summary

Burr & Forman LLP is seeking a full-time, experienced business immigration paralegal to support the firm's immigration practice by preparing, filing, and tracking applications and petitions.

The role may be based in our offices in Atlanta, GA, Bluffton, SC, Columbia, SC, or Greenville, SC, with a focus on accurate case management, client communication, and collaboration with attorneys. Strong writing and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, paralegal certification or equivalent combination.
• Two years of business immigration experience with visa petitions and green cards.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and ownership mindset.
• Excellent writing, proofreading, and research skills.
• Ability to balance priorities in a fast-paced environment with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Prepare visa applications and petitions for business immigration cases.
• Use immigration case management systems and project management software.
• Compile and analyze case facts, prepare reports and documents.
• Manage case files, deadlines, and status inquiries.
• Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, attorneys, and government agencies.
• Draft immigration correspondence for attorney review.
• Other duties as needed.
