  • At least five years of immigration paralegal experience.
  • Hands-on experience in employment-based immigration.
  • Knowledge of H-1B, L-1, PERM and green card matters.
  • Ability to draft petitions, letters, and RFE responses.
  • Experience managing a high-volume caseload.
  • Excellent written communication and organization.
  • Strong client service and corporate communication.
  • Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate preferred.

Job description

VisaNation Law Group PLLC is seeking an experiencedBusiness Immigration Paralegalto join our growing team in South Florida.

VisaNation serves businesses and individuals throughout the United States and internationally, including startups, established companies, entrepreneurs, executives, investors, and highly accomplished professionals. We combine sophisticated immigration counsel with efficient processes and modern technology to deliver an exceptional client experience.

This is a fully in-office position for a paralegal who has substantial employment-based immigration experience and is comfortable managing a demanding caseload with accuracy, urgency, and strong professional judgment.

You will work closely with our attorneys throughout the lifecycle of employment-based immigration matters, from initial case intake and document collection through drafting, filing, and post-filing follow-up. The successful candidate will be able to independently move cases forward, communicate confidently with clients and employers, anticipate attorney needs, and maintain consistently high standards across a large number of active matters.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant visa filings, including H-1B, L-1A, L-1B, O-1, E-1/E-2, J-1, EB-1, EB-2 NIW, EB-3, PERM and adjustment-of-status matters.
  • Draft immigration forms, petition letters, employer support letters, client declarations, responses to Requests for Evidence and other case-related correspondence.
  • Manage cases from intake through filing, including identifying required evidence, reviewing documentation and following up with clients regarding outstanding items.
  • Coordinate directly with corporate representatives, foreign national employees and individual clients regarding timelines, documentation and case progress.
  • Monitor filing deadlines, expiration dates, recruitment timelines and other important case milestones.
  • Organize case files and ensure that forms, supporting evidence and filing packages are complete, accurate and properly documented.
  • Conduct preliminary immigration research and assist attorneys with case strategy, eligibility analysis and complex filings.
  • Maintain accurate information within the firm’s case management and document systems.
  • Help improve internal workflows, templates and processes as the firm continues to grow.
Qualifications
  • At leastfive years of immigration paralegal experience, with significant hands‑on experience in employment‑based immigration.
  • Strong working knowledge of H-1B, L-1, PERM and employment‑based green card matters.
  • Experience with O-1, EB-1A, EB-1C, EB-2 NIW, E-1/E-2 or related categories is highly valued.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently prepare substantive first drafts of petition letters, employer letters and RFE responses.
  • Experience managing a high‑volume caseload and balancing multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent written communication, proofreading and document‑organization skills.
  • Strong client service skills and the confidence to communicate directly with corporate contacts and foreign national employees.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accountability and follow‑through.
  • Comfort using immigration software, case management platforms, cloud‑based systems and other legal technology.
  • Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate preferred.

Work Location

This is afull-time, fully in‑office position based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Candidates must be able to work from our Fort Lauderdale office on a regular basis. This position is not remote or hybrid.
