Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a business immigration attorney in Chicago, IL, to join the team and handle U.S. and international immigration matters. The off-track associate will draft visa petitions, support senior lawyers, and counsel clients on complex regulatory requirements.

The role requires JD, Illinois admission, and 1–3 years of U.S. business immigration experience, with a writing sample requested.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of U.S. business immigration experience required.
• Strong analytical and writing abilities.
• Illinois bar admission in good standing.
• Must provide a writing sample.

Responsibilities

• Draft and assemble employer-sponsored visa petitions (NIV/IV).
• Support PERM Labor Certification process.
• Prepare client communications for senior attorneys.
• Track and analyze client documentation for evidentiary standards.
• Manage multiple assignments using internal case management tools.
• Stay current on agency guidance and evolving immigration law.
