• Strong legal writing and client interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex employment-based immigration matters.
• Direct cases from intake to filing with USCIS/DOL.

• Oversee NIW/EB-1/EB-2/EB-3/L-1/TN/EB-5 filings.

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Business Immigration Attorney based in Phoenix, AZ. The firm is dedicated to humanitarian-based immigration, focusing on innovative solutions for DACA recipients and foreign nationals seeking green cards through employment sponsorship. The role involves leading complex employment-based immigration matters and providing in-person client representation at local USCIS field offices.

Duties

• Conduct thorough legal evaluations to build tailored employment-based immigration strategies.
• Direct cases from start to finish, including strategy formulation and submission to USCIS and DOL.
• Prepare clients for USCIS interviews and provide in-person legal representation.
• Oversee filings across key corporate categories, including NIW, EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, L-1, TN, and EB-5.
• Draft legal briefs, support letters, and responses to RFEs, Audit Notices, and NOIDs.
• Collaborate with paralegals and case managers to ensure accurate data entry and timely filings.
• Stay current on USCIS/DOL policies and regulatory changes.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited US law school.
• Active bar membership in good standing (Arizona bar membership preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in Business & Employment-Based Immigration Law.
• Must be locally based in Arizona for in-person client interviews.
• Proven track record with EB-1, EB-2, EB-3 PERM, and NIW filings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with EB-5 Investor Petitions is a major plus.
• Experience in a high-volume corporate immigration law firm.
