Qualifications

• U.S. JD or LLM required.
• Active membership in a U.S. state bar or Washington, D.C. bar.
• At least 2 years of associate-level legal experience.
• Meaningful business immigration experience and practical knowledge of U.S. immigration law.
• Strong legal research, drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to independently produce accurate, polished legal work product.

Responsibilities

• Develop case strategies and assess eligibility for nonimmigrant and immigrant visa classifications.
• Research, draft, and review petitions, applications, and other legal documents.
• Counsel corporate clients and foreign national employees on immigration procedures, case strategy, and processing issues.
• Partner with client global mobility teams on immigration program management and compliance.
• Manage case initiations, identify escalations, and help resolve complex processing issues.
• Conduct legal research in support of client matters and projects.
• Deliver responsive, thoughtful, and highly organized client service.
• Collaborate with attorneys and other professionals to resolve client issues and advance matters.
• Share immigration knowledge and provide guidance to junior Associates and other team members.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and consistency across processes and client service.
