LHH is assisting a leading immigration law firm in its search for an experienced Senior Business Immigration Associate Attorney to join its Phoenix team on a temp-to-hire basis. This opportunity is designed for an accomplished immigration attorney who can serve as a strategic advisor to sophisticated clients while taking ownership of complex business immigration matters.

The attorney will initially work in the Phoenix office, with the opportunity to transition to a hybrid arrangement following the introductory period. The typical hybrid schedule is four days per week in the office.

The Role

In this senior-level position, you will advise clients on sophisticated business immigration matters while managing cases, client relationships, and strategic initiatives. Responsibilities include:

• Advise senior-level clients on complex business immigration matters, emerging legal issues, and regulatory developments
• Manage a portfolio of high-profile clients while overseeing quality and risk across client relationships
• Lead business immigration cases and projects from inception through completion
• Serve as a strategic advisor on significant client matters and challenges
• Allocate resources and responsibilities across projects to support quality, efficiency, and successful outcomes
• Build and strengthen client relationships while collaborating with colleagues across offices and teams
• Anticipate regulatory and market developments and provide relevant insights to clients
• Identify opportunities to improve the quality, efficiency, and standardization of legal services and processes
• Participate in business development initiatives, including RFPs, pitch meetings, and client presentations
• Provide leadership, mentoring, coaching, and supervision to attorneys and other team members
• Maintain high standards for file management, recordkeeping, data quality, and use of firm technology
• Support risk management and compliance with firm policies and procedures

Compensation

$56.00-$71.00 per hour

Candidate Requirements

• U.S. JD or LLM
• Active membership in a U.S. state bar or Washington, D.C. bar
• At least 8 years of Associate-level legal experience
• Significant business immigration experience and demonstrated expertise in immigration law
• Prior team management experience strongly preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to excellent client service
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to contribute positively to a collaborative work environment
• Must not perform concurrent legal work while engaged in this assignment without prior written approval
