Job description

Burbank, CA | Approx. 30 hours/week to start | Full-time potential within 90 days

About Us

Our mission is to provide a creative home that inspires artists to express themselves freely and fearlessly.

CloseUp Crew Productions is a creative services company based in Burbank, CA. Under one roof, we operate two distinct businesses: our self-tape studio and photography services for actors, and The WhereHouse Creative Studio, a premium rental space for filmmakers, content creators, photographers, production companies, events and more.

We’ve spent nearly seven years doing the hardest work, building systems, creating the culture, and earning a loyal client base. The foundation is solid and the timing is right. What we need now is an experienced leader who can identify the highest-impact opportunities, execute them effectively, and help us expand into everything we’ve built toward.

The Role

We’re hiring a Business Growth & Operations Manager to work directly with the owner across both studios.

We’re looking for someone who leads, builds, and drives results. Someone who has successfully managed people, launched programs or revenue initiatives, and knows how to turn good ideas into measurable outcomes.

You’ll strengthen day-to-day operations, drive new business opportunities, and build on the systems already in place to help this company grow. You’ll be the person who makes things happen when the founder isn’t in the room and increasingly, the person who makes sure she doesn’t have to be.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
Studio Operations
  • Keep both studios running beautifully, client-ready, stocked, and operationally sound.
  • Expand on our SOPs and playbooks so processes are documented, repeatable, and trainable.
  • Oversee facility maintenance, equipment, vendors, and contracts
  • Coordinate with existing team leads and support staff to keep operations running smoothly
  • Build accountability structures and team culture that don’t require constant owner oversight
Growth & Business Development
  • Design and launch membership programs for both studios from concept through retention. Build and
  • execute a reactivation campaign for lapsed clients

Business Operations
  • Manage budgets and maintain clean financial follow-through
  • Negotiate vendor contracts and identify opportunities to improve margins
  • Keep marketing initiatives moving consistently

  • The WhereHouse has new partnerships and contracts driving consistent, direct bookings
  • Studio utilization is measurably up across both spaces
  • The business is operating at a scale we couldn't reach before
  • The owner is out of the day-to-day and focused on vision and growth
