Connection in the United States (Massachusetts) is seeking a Business Development Specialist to drive sales growth by identifying opportunities with Sales, focusing on key accounts, and increasing market share in assigned practice areas. You will collaborate with partners and internal teams to close new business and maximize profitability.
The role requires strong Excel and WebEx skills, solid IT aptitude, and excellent communication.

Working under minimal supervision of the applicable Manager of Product Management, referring only exceptional problems and issues for management review or approval, the Business Development Specialist proactively increases sales in the funded partner and/or partner’s specific practice area (e.g. Data Center, Networking, Workforce Optimization aka Systems, Software) by working directly with the Sales teams and Sales management teams to penetrate accounts and increase our market share in the focus business segment(s). The BDS maintains and increases knowledge of their specific technology practice area by attending trainings and achieving certifications.
