Are you a tenacious "hunter" with a passion for initiating new business relationships?

Maverick Search Partners is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Specialist for a leading client in the legal and business services sector. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your cold-calling expertise and persuasive communication skills to generate high-quality leads for a seasoned sales team.

What You'll Do:

  • Be a Cold Calling Powerhouse: Initiate the sales process by consistently engaging with potential clients via telephone and electronic communications, with a strong emphasis on outbound phone calls.
  • Identify and Qualify Prospects: Develop a deep understanding of organizational structures and key buying influences of C-Level decision-makers. Follow up on suspect opportunities and conduct thorough research to identify and qualify potential prospects.
  • Nurture and Build Relationships: Cultivate potential prospect relationships by initiating and conducting follow-up communications to determine budget, decision-makers, needs, and timelines.
  • Seamless Handoffs: Work collaboratively with client managers to ensure a smooth transition of qualified prospects.
  • Pipeline Growth: Partner with the Sales Integration Manager to develop and grow the sales pipeline with highly qualified sales opportunities.
  • Data Management: Accurately manage data for new and prospective clients in the database, ensuring all communications are logged and information is precise.

What You'll Bring:

  • 2-3 years of proven B2B telemarketing and/or inside sales experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed sales and activity quotas.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Aptitude to quickly master complex solutions.
  • Strong time management skills and a confident, assertive, flexible, team-oriented, and professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM software preferred.

Location: This is a 100% remote position, supporting East to West Coast time zones.
