Position Summary:
Redaptive is seeking motivated individuals passionate about technology, learning, and driving growth to join our sales development & operations team as a Business Development Representative (BDR) in collaboration with key leaders, sales executives, product teams, and more.
In this role, you will be responsible for generating leads, building strong relationships with potential clients, and contributing to our sales growth. You must be a quick learner, creative and self-motivated with excellent professional communication skills, be able to showcase our offerings compellingly and be passionate about the industry. Every potential customer is an opportunity for you to boost top-line revenue growth.

Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach.
- Work closely with marketing to align lead generation efforts with overall business objectives.
- Proactively identify and qualify potential leads from Outbound and Inbound sources.
- Develop an ongoing understanding of Sustainability, Energy Conservation, and all things related to Redaptive’s mission.
- Research and define key targets in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Originations.
- Perform ongoing analysis for action and review of ongoing efforts that generate quota retirement and success.
- Apply effective communication skills, collaborating directly with customers, sales and cross functional teams.
- Place cold calls into new business accounts every day.
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives for next steps
- Research and analyze market trends to identify new business opportunities
- Continuously improve sales techniques and product knowledge through training and self-development.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in inside sales, telemarketing, or a related role.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to turn objections into opportunities for Redaptive.
- Enrich your work, and the experiences of our customers, with everyday learnings about the marketplace we live in.
- Remain results driven within every effort that is made.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Basic understanding of the industry and products/services offered
- This role will require an individual to operate from 7 pm IST to 4 am IST.
Education & Experience:
- 5+ years of sales experience, with a history of achieving MBO or Quota targets for a US-based organisation.
- Experience with Fortune 500 (or selling to US-based hospital systems) or building, facilities, or energy sectors is preferred
- Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM software is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or marketplace experience at a top performing company.
