American Plastics is a privately owned injection molding plastics company that designs, manufactures and sells industry leading storage and organizational products and commercial grade waste-collection products. Our clients include some of the world’s most recognizable brands, encompassing leading retail companies, club and wholesale businesses, big-box retailers, home improvement centers, and farm and fleet operations. American Plastics is growing fast, both organically and through recent acquisitions, tripling the company size and expanding the production footprint to Missouri, Ohio, Arizona, North and South Carolina. This position will report to the Vice President of Sales.

The Business Development Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities with existing customers and acquiring new clients through professional prospecting and networking skills. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, self-starting individual with a proven track record of success in sales, particularly with large customers. This role demands exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—combined with strong leadership abilities. The capacity to cultivate and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders is essential.
