We are looking for a motivatedBusiness Development Representative (BDR)to join our growing team and help expand our client base across the island.
TheBusiness Development Representative (BDR)identifies, develops, and secures new business opportunities within the regulated manufacturing sector. This individual will actively prospect potential clients, establish strong professional relationships, and close new contracts to drive company growth.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Identify, research, and target potential clients within thepharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical deviceindustries.
Generate and qualify leads throughcold calls, networking, referrals, LinkedIn outreach, and participation in industry events.
Develop and manage astructured sales pipelineusing CRM tools to track progress and opportunities.
Present and promote the company’sengineering and technical consulting servicesto decision-makers and key stakeholders.
Prepare and deliverproposals, quotations, and presentationsin coordination with the technical and management teams.
Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client requirements.
Build and maintainlong‑term relationshipswith clients to promote satisfaction and recurring business.
Stay informed ofindustry trends, competitive activities, and market developmentswithin the life sciences sector.
Collaborate closely with internal departments to ensuresmooth project handoffsand client onboarding.
Meet or exceedsales and growth targetsestablished by management.
Bachelor’s degree inBusiness Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or related field.
2+ years of experiencein business development, sales, or account management — preferably in theengineering, pharmaceutical, or consulting industry.
Proven ability to generate new business and close deals.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred.
Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven with the ability to work independently.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout Puerto Rico.
Compensation & Incentives
Base Salary + Commission Structure:Competitive base compensation complemented by acommission planbased on new business generation and revenue growth.
