Job description

Our mission: to make international freight simpler and more sustainable through technology! Be OVRSEA's first impression in the US market! Founded in 2017, OVRSEA is a next-generation freight forwarder that uses technology to simplify and optimize international transport for businesses. We support 700+ companies across 60 countries in their international freight shipments. In January 2026, OVRSEA merged with the Fatton Lyseo group. This large-scale operation comes amid profound geopolitical, commercial, and technological shifts. Our ambition is clear: to build, through organic and external growth, a unified, agile, and sustainable French leader in logistics, capable of addressing new challenges in logistics control, operational performance, and technological disruption. This merger brings together, under a single group, cutting-edge tech expertise, well-established historical know-how, and a dense network of locations across strategic geographies - with over 1,000 employees, 61 offices in 14 countries, and 120,000 m² of warehouse space - serving demanding clients in the luxury, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and food industries. Joining our teams means taking part in building an independent, high-performing, and innovative group.

The role & the team

We are looking for ambitious people to join our team and be apart of the growing US team! BDRs build the foundations of our business relationships and develop valuable sales skills. Their role is to identify and qualify new sales opportunities through phone calls, emails, LinkedIn approaches and other social networks in order to set up product demos. BDRs must be organized, rigorous, disciplined and are responsible for updating our CRM (Salesforce). Being the first point of contact with our prospects, BDRs are essential in our Sales team, closely working with Account Executives to ensure leads are converted into active clients. This role serves as a strong foundation for future account management opportunities and offers valuable insight into the art of sales. Working alongside experienced sales professionals, you’ll play a key role in building and shaping our U.S. sales team.

Your missions
Identify relevant prospects (20%)
  • Identify, research, and prioritize target accounts in industries such as retail, pharma, luxury, cosmetics, and industrials that rely on international freight
  • Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns and convert them into sales-ready opportunities with clear context and next steps
Contacting prospects to get appointments (70%)
  • Execute multi-channel outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn) to engage logistics managers, supply chain directors, and operations leads at mid-market and enterprise companies
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to hand off qualified opportunities and ensure a smooth transition through the sales process
Improve our sales methods (10%)
  • Maintain accurate records of all outreach activities, pipeline status, and prospect notes in the CRM (Salesforce or HubSpot)
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified meetings, pipeline contribution, and activity volume
  • Continuously develop your freight forwarding expertise — modes, Incoterms, customs, sustainability, etc
We're meant to work together if
  • 1-3 years experience in a BDR, SDR, or inside sales role, ideally in logistics, SaaS, or B2B services
  • You are eager to learn about global trade, supply chains, logistics technology and the dynamic world of global freight
  • Ability to communicate effectively and confidently in both written and spoken interactions
  • You have a proven track record of self-sourcing pipeline through cold outreach and creative multi-touch sequences
  • Willingness to work in a small, growing team and contribute to strengthening a presence in a new market
  • Organized and thorough, you are skilled at managing tasks and diligently following up with prospects
Why join OVRSEA?
  • Career Opportunities: Start as a BDR and advance quickly into roles like Account Executive or Account Manager
  • Startup spirit: Be part of a growing, close-knit team, driving the international transport revolution
  • High impact: The BDR team contributes directly to 90% of new customer acquisitions, making your work essential to OVRSEA’s success
  • Exceptional training: Benefit from hands-on mentorship and tailored onboarding in both sales and international logistics, building a strong foundation for your career
Benefits
  • Employer-covered health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Competitive & flexible PTO policy
  • Hybrid working schedule (2 days per week from home)
  • Work in a vibrant work environment & great offices in New York
  • Experience a personalized 4-week onboarding program to become fully operational in your daily job, setting you up for success from day one.
  • 401k plan which kicks in after having reached a 4-month seniority within the company
