Job Overview :

The Business Development Representative supports a major OEM auto maker relationship, the OEM’s retail dealerships, and related staff with Safe-Guard Product and Services Training and Sales Advisory Services. The role involves using product knowledge and training skills to maximize productivity and results across multiple client locations within an assigned territory.

Job Responsibilities :
  1. Serve as the primary contact with key partners and clients to meet goals and strategic results.
  2. Build and conduct customized training programs to help OEM auto makers and dealerships grow their Finance & Insurance business.
  3. Leverage the Safe-Guard Training platform as a strategic differentiator.
  4. Establish a presence at industry events, conferences, and publications on behalf of Safe-Guard.
  5. Partner with Sales Management to maximize sales revenue.
  6. Enhance programs related to Safe-Guard product knowledge and sales techniques.
  7. Conduct regional and dealership training seminars to increase profitability and product sales.
  8. Develop and utilize approved training and marketing materials.
  9. Assist dealers in complying with laws and regulations through ongoing training.
  10. Market and facilitate dealer participation in F&I certification and training classes.
  11. Educate personnel on the features and benefits of Safe-Guard products.
  12. Implement action plans to increase sales of Safe-Guard products and services.
  13. Build relationships with key partners to develop mutually beneficial strategies.
Job Requirements :
  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
  • 6+ years of automotive retail-related management experience (e.g., F&I, Sales Manager, GSM, GM, Training Specialist).
  • 2+ years of F&I specific experience.
  • 3+ years of territory management and training activities.
  • Extensive menu selling experience.
  • Proficiency in selling current F&I product suite.
  • Experience in account development with proven results.
