The Opportunity
Have you heard!? Own Up is the fastest-growing mortgage marketplace in the country with 100% growth YOY! We managed to successfully grow our market share in a shrinking market and now we’re ready to add fuel to the fire (you’re the fuel!) As our founding Business Development Representative, you’ll be at the forefront, driving the next phase of our growth strategy by expanding our lender network. Your primary mission will be to identify and qualify potential lenders who align with our partner criteria. You'll leverage various cold outreach methods to connect with key decision-makers, articulate the value proposition of partnering with Own Up, and schedule discovery meetings for the Director, Lender Relations. We expect this role to grow as the company scales. Along the way, you’ll work closely with senior leadership and contribute directly to the company’s revenue.

As a small, scrappy startup we act with urgency in all things, operate with a high degree of cross-functional collaboration, and always keep an eye on our KPI’s to know we’re moving in the right direction. Our even smaller, but mighty Lender Relations team goes above and beyond to build successful partnerships that drive our thriving network. As part of the Lender Relations team, you’ll report directly to the COO, partner with the Director, Lender Relations, and work closely with New Markets and Mortgage Operations teammates.
