Job description

Position Title: Marketing Coordinator

Salary Range: $55,000–$85,000 / Year, DOE

This is an opportunity to step into a newly created role where you’ll have real ownership over how an established architecture firm builds its business development engine. The Marketing Coordinator will identify and cultivate new opportunities, build relationships with key decision-makers, manage RFP and RFQ efforts, and strengthen the firm’s visibility through targeted marketing and outreach. You’ll work directly with firm leadership while helping create the processes, tools, and strategies that will shape business development for years to come.

The ideal candidate is an energetic, driven self-starter with at least three years of sales experience who enjoys building relationships, creating structure from scratch, and taking ownership without needing a rigid playbook.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute proactive business development strategies to identify, qualify, and pursue new project opportunities
  • Build relationships with developers, project managers, and other key decision-makers through LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email outreach, networking, and ongoing follow-up
  • Research prospective clients and opportunities, distinguishing high-value prospects from less viable leads
  • Partner with studio and project leaders to prepare customized RFPs, RFQs, proposals, qualification packages and client presentations
  • Develop targeted content to attract new clients and strengthen relationships with existing clients, including newsletters, email campaigns and social media content
  • Maintain an active and consistent presence across relevant social platforms while staying current on firm projects, industry activity and potential opportunities
  • Create and coordinate marketing collateral including brochures, banners, project boards, business cards, branded merchandise and trade show materials
  • Help establish and maintain the firm’s CRM database, prospect portfolio and overall business development processes
  • Maintain brand consistency across external communications, presentations and marketing materials
  • Support community and zoning presentations in partnership with internal project teams
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field
  • 3+ years of professional sales or business development experience with similar responsibilities
  • Strong interest in architecture, design, and the built environment
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, develop relationships, and consistently follow up with prospective clients
  • Comfortable working independently and creating processes in a newly established role
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with confidence communicating with senior-level decision-makers
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with architects and project leaders throughout the proposal process
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar prospecting tools
  • Highly organized, resourceful, and capable of managing multiple opportunities and projects simultaneously
  • Industry experience may be considered in lieu of specific educational requirements
Benefits
  • Blue Shield healthcare coverage
  • Unlimited PTO
