We're looking for a Business Development Representative to drive new business across electric utility, cooperative, and OSP/distribution engineering markets. You'll build the top of our sales pipeline—identifying prospects, understanding their distribution and joint-use challenges, and connecting them with the right Katapult Pro resources—then hand qualified opportunities to our senior sales and engineering teams. This entry-level job is full-time and in person at Katapult's office in Dillsburg, PA.
Expected Job Roles
- Identify and prospect new business among electric utilities, cooperatives, and OSP/telecom attachers nationwide
- Engage prospects through calls, email, and LinkedIn, building trust by understanding their distribution workflows and goals
- Own the top-of-funnel pipeline from first contact through qualification, tracking outreach consistently in the CRM
- Schedule and support discovery calls and Katapult Pro product demonstrations
- Execute clear, well-documented handoffs of qualified opportunities to senior business development and engineering staff
- Represent Katapult at trade shows and conferences, and gather market/competitor intelligence to sharpen our sales strategy

- Preferred backgrounds (but we wouldn't rule you out if you didn’t have these): hospitality or restaurant work, sports or team management, food or beverage sales, construction sales or hands‑on construction work, heavy equipment sales, or prior exposure to the electric utility/telecom/civil engineering industries
