Job summary

Katapult Engineering seeks an entry-level Business Development Representative to drive new business across electric utilities, cooperatives, and OSP/distribution engineering markets. You will build the top of our sales pipeline—identifying prospects, understanding their distribution workflows, and connecting them with Katapult Pro resources—then hand qualified opportunities to our senior sales and engineering teams.

This full-time, in-person role is based at Katapult's office in Dillsburg, PA.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a growing pipeline of prospects.
• Ability to learn quickly and speak knowledgeably about Katapult's products and the distribution/OSP engineering industry.
• Ability to use CRM and Katapult Pro software.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new business among electric utilities, cooperatives, and OSP/telecom attachers nationwide.
• Engage prospects through calls, email, and LinkedIn, building trust by understanding their distribution workflows and goals.
• Own the top-of-funnel pipeline from first contact through qualification, tracking outreach in the CRM.
• Schedule and support discovery calls and Katapult Pro product demonstrations.
• Execute clear, well-documented handoffs of qualified opportunities to senior business development and engineering staff.
• Represent Katapult at trade shows and conferences, and gather market/competitor intelligence to sharpen our sales strategy.
