Business Development Representative

The Business Development Representative plays a key role in generating new business opportunities and managing leads through the sales pipeline. This individual helps identify potential clients, schedule meetings, and support the sales team's growth efforts.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and qualify leads through cold calling, email outreach, and social media.
  • Schedule meetings and tours with potential clients.
  • Maintain accurate lead and client data in HubSpot.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and understand client needs.
  • Engage with prospects via phone and email to introduce services and follow up with prior contacts.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop outreach strategies.
  • Track and report on sales activities and progress toward goals.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, competitors, and service offerings.
  • Handle objections and communicate the value of services effectively.
  • Assist in creating sales presentations and proposals.
  • Participate in ongoing training to build sales and product knowledge.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Provide feedback to marketing on lead quality.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or customer service preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to articulate value propositions and engage in professional conversations.
  • Understanding of sales metrics and performance tracking.
