As a business development representative, you’ll be the first point of contact for potential clients, tasked with qualifying leads and creating opportunities for the sales team to close deals. Your natural charm, sales instinct and resilience will fuel growth.

  • 1+ years of experience in finance, fintech, consulting or venture capital
  • Problem-solver who navigates the unknown confidently
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university
  • Proactive self-starter who thrives in dynamic settings

Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new sales opportunities through both inbound qualification and outbound outreach
  • Qualify leads using a consultative approach to uncover pain points and match them with Baselayer’s solutions
  • Expand the sales pipeline by executing both warm and cold outbound campaigns
  • Conduct research to identify potential clients and add them to the outreach list
  • Work directly with CEO and co-founders to scale business
