Your Title: Business Development Professional (m/f/d)

Job Location: remote in Sweden or Norway, Netherlands, Finland and Belgium.

What You Will Do

As the Business Development Professional, you will be responsible for evaluating and managing new strategic business opportunities such as mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, alliances, and joint ventures. You will oversee the development of strategic market and product line business plans and marketing programs to support sales in designated market segments. Your role will involve identifying volume and strategic customers and developing valuable partnerships. Additionally, you will analyze market data to identify trends and opportunities, develop strategic directions from market information, and create compelling market analysis presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and Manage Strategic Business Opportunities: Identify and assess new strategic business opportunities including mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, alliances, and joint ventures. Lead negotiations and manage relationships with potential partners and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.

  • Strategic Planning and Marketing Programs: Oversee the development of strategic market and product line business plans. Create and implement marketing programs to support sales in designated market segments. Work closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of strategies.

  • Identify Strategic Customers and Develop Partnerships: Identify volume and strategic customers to expand the company’s market presence. Develop and nurture partnerships that drive business growth and add value to the organization.

  • Market Data Analysis and Strategic Direction: Analyze market data to identify trends and opportunities that can be leveraged for business growth. Develop strategic directions based on market information and company goals. Create and deliver compelling market analysis presentations to senior management and stakeholders.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role, preferably in a multinational environment with experience in business development, strategic planning, or a related role.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Geodesy, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Master's Degree or relevant advanced degree preferred.

  • Proven track record of evaluating and managing strategic business opportunities.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market data and trends.

  • Excellent strategic planning, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
