Job Title: Business Development Professional

Location: Fully remote

As a Business Development Professional, you will play a critical role in securing new clients and expanding our footprint in IT, Engineering, Finance, and Accounting staffing. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you’ll own prospecting, developing strategic relationships, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead New Business Development Efforts: identify, engage, and close new clients, explaining The Methodical Group’s footprint in the staffing industry.
  2. Own Prospecting and Sales Cycle: generate leads through cold outreach, warm leads, in-person networking, and referrals.
  3. Solution-Based Selling: consult with clients to understand their hiring challenges and provide tailored staffing solutions.
  4. Develop Strong Relationships: build and nurture long-term partnerships with decision-makers, hiring managers, and executives (CXO, CTO, CFO, etc.).
  5. Collaborate with Recruiting Team: work closely with recruiters to ensure successful placements and long-term client satisfaction.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience selling workforce (staffing) solutions (IT, Engineering, Finance, or Accounting).
  • Proven sales track record with demonstrated ability to close deals and deliver revenue growth.
  • Active engagement in professional communities (professional membership society, conference attendee, board/committee member, etc.).
  • Experience leveraging professional networks within specialized communities.
  • Experience actively prospecting new logos (cold calling, cold emailing, boots on the ground, warm leads, etc.).
  • Tech savvy – Familiarity with Salesforce, Apollo, and Microsoft Suite.
