This role is responsible for working with sales colleagues and internal stakeholders to identify new logo Corporate or Professional Services customers and drive the sales process for complex products/services. Key activities include qualifying prospects, initiating sales, and managing sales cycles to closure. The role also involves assessing client needs and providing strategic guidance and product overviews.

Responsibilities:
  • Build and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed targets aligning with company objectives.
  • Work with team members to drive sales from prospecting to closure.
  • Lead business development within assigned territories, collaborating with specialists to develop proposals and deliver demos.
  • Coordinate with Product Management to improve products and develop new revenue sources.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and identify solutions based on market and technical knowledge.
  • Provide customer service and product overviews tailored to client needs.
  • Identify additional products/services for clients and introduce them appropriately.
  • Act as market expert, providing use cases during sales cycles.
  • Serve as liaison between client, sales, and implementation teams.
  • Respond to product/service inquiries from prospects.
  • Represent Moody's at industry events.
  • Resolve client issues using interpersonal skills and share market insights.
  • Assist in training new team members.
  • Provide sales forecasts and pipeline updates.
  • Travel approximately 20-40% of the time.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with coursework in business, economics, finance, or related fields preferred.
  • 10+ years of B2B sales experience, especially in Corporate & Professional Services (e.g., Energy, Healthcare, Real Estate).
  • Understanding of industry dynamics and business drivers.
  • Ability to present high-level and detailed product information.
  • Proven success in leading complex sales cycles using consultative techniques.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to engage with senior executives.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented team player.

Salary range for US roles: $112,000 - $162,400, plus incentives. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, parental leave, 401(k), insurance, stock purchase plan, tuition reimbursement, and more.
