Department: Commercial / Business Development

Location: Field-based / Remote with Travel

Overview

A rapidly growing healthcare organisation focused on women's health is seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Manager to expand market presence and drive commercial success. This individual contributor role is ideal for a high-performing professional with deep experience in healthcare sales or strategic partnerships and a strong understanding of the women’s health landscape.

This position requires a proven ability to identify opportunities, cultivate key relationships with healthcare providers and clinical stakeholders, and close new business in a complex, consultative environment. The role is field-based, with regular travel to meet clients, prospects, and key decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and convert a pipeline of qualified leads into long-term clients through a consultative, value-based selling approach.
  • Conduct market research to understand provider needs, regional trends, and competitive dynamics in women’s health.
  • Develop and execute territory or segment-specific business development strategies aligned with broader commercial goals.
  • Deliver effective presentations and product/solution overviews to clinicians, administrators, and executive stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, clinical affairs, operations, and customer success teams to ensure seamless onboarding and account activation.
  • Track and report on activity, pipeline health, and performance metrics via CRM and internal systems.
  • Represent the organisation at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in business development, B2B healthcare sales, or strategic partnerships, preferably in the women’s health, diagnostics, medical device, or digital health sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales or growth targets in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows, provider priorities, and reimbursement dynamics in women's health.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable with autonomy, fast-paced environments, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and data-driven decision-making.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% within assigned territory or region.

Preferred Experience

  • Existing network of OB/GYN or women’s health contacts.
  • Experience launching new healthcare solutions or scaling within early-stage or high-growth organisations.
  • Background in diagnostic testing, medical technology, or women’s health therapeutics.

Opportunity Highlights

  • Mission-driven organisation focused on improving outcomes in women’s health.
