Job description

Our client is an international, family-owned industrial group specializing in the design and manufacturing of high-performance connectivity solutions, including connectors, flat cables, ultra-modular systems, and human-machine interfaces.

Its solutions are used in highly demanding environments where reliability is critical, such as aerospace, defense, space, and selected industrial applications.

With an established U.S. presence and local engineering and manufacturing capabilities, the company is entering a new phase of commercial and industrial development.

As part of its growth strategy, our client is looking to recruit a Business Development Manager – Southwest USA to strengthen its commercial presence and accelerate business development across the region.

The position is based in Texas, covering Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, and selected Southwest U.S. markets, with regular travel throughout the territory.

MISSIONS

Reporting to the BU Manager – Southwest, you will play a key role in developing the company's commercial presence across your assigned territory, combining business development and technical-commercial support.

With a strong hunter mindset and entrepreneurial spirit, you will identify and qualify new business opportunities, particularly within aerospace, defense, space, and selected industrial segments.

You will create and develop a client portfolio, building long-term, high-value relationships while managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and early technical discussions through contract negotiation and project follow-up.

Acting as a technical-commercial interface for customers, you will understand their operational constraints and application requirements, provide first-level technical support, and help identify appropriate solutions.

You will work closely with the company's Engineering, R&D, and Production teams in the U.S. and France to coordinate technical exchanges and ensure effective project follow-up.

You will also represent the company during customer meetings, site visits, and industry events, contributing to its visibility and credibility across the regional aerospace, defense, and industrial ecosystems.

PROFILE

You have at least 5 years of experience in B2B technical sales or business development, ideally within aerospace, defense, electronics, connectivity solutions, or other high-technology industrial sectors.

You hold a degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical/electronic, electromechanical, aerospace, or related fields), or have developed equivalent technical expertise through your professional experience.

Experience selling engineered components, customized technical solutions, or products designed for harsh environments would be a strong advantage.

You demonstrate a balanced technical and commercial profile, with the ability to engage in complex technical discussions while driving business development and negotiations.

Beyond your background, we are looking for a true business developer: someone proactive, persistent, hands-on, and capable of opening doors, building trusted customer relationships, and developing a territory.

You are autonomous, reliable, and results-oriented, with a strong entrepreneurial mindset. You enjoy working in an agile, international environment with significant autonomy and clear expectations on outcomes.

You bring energy, ambition, technical curiosity, and a genuine desire to develop new business and grow a market.

Fluent English Is Required.

You are based in Texas or willing to relocate and available for regular travel throughout the assigned territory.

WHY JOIN OUR CLIENT?

This is an opportunity to join a growing international industrial group combining technological expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and strong ambitions for the U.S. market.

You will benefit from the support of an established American organization with local engineering and manufacturing capabilities, while enjoying significant autonomy in developing your territory.

You will also join a company with a distinctive, human-centered culture built around four core values: Trust, Responsibility, Engagement, and Mutual Aid.

This position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on business growth, develop long-term customer relationships, and contribute to the continued expansion of the company's U.S. operations.
