Job summary

PuroClean of Plant City in Plant City, FL seeks a Business Development Manager to build new business, nurture partnerships, and grow accounts across the local market.

This field-based role offers a base salary plus commission and requires 8-hour shifts with travel throughout the assigned service area. A proven sales background in property restoration helps, along with strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in the property restoration or P&L/contract-based sales is preferred.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills are required.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across the territory are essential.
• Ability to pass a background check and manage relationships with referral partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop New Business: identify and pursue opportunities in the assigned territory.
• Build Referral Partnerships with insurance pros, property managers, agents, contractors, and others.
• Grow Existing Accounts through regular contact and relationship management.
• Network in the Community at events and industry functions.
• Promote PuroClean’s restoration services and value proposition to partners and customers.
• Generate Qualified Leads and manage the sales pipeline from meetings to follow-up.
• Develop Growth Strategies to increase referrals and expand market share.

What You'll Do

• Develop New Business: Identify, pursue, and cultivate new business opportunities throughout the assigned territory.
• Build Referral Partnerships: Establish and maintain relationships with insurance professionals, property managers, real estate agents, contractors, facility managers, and other potential referral partners.
• Grow Existing Accounts: Maintain consistent contact with current partners to strengthen relationships and generate repeat business.
• Network in the Community: Attend networking events, business meetings, trade shows, industry functions, and community events.
• Promote Our Services: Educate prospective partners and customers about PuroClean's restoration capabilities and the value we provide.
• Generate Qualified Leads: Use prospecting, networking, outreach, and relationship-building to create new business opportunities.
• Manage Your Pipeline: Schedule meetings, conduct presentations, follow up with prospects, and track business development activities.
• Develop Growth Strategies: Identify opportunities to increase referrals, expand market share, and strengthen our local presence.
• Collaborate With Our Team: Work closely with management and operations to help deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Qualifications

• Required: Previous experience in the property restoration industry.
• Previous experience in sales, business development, marketing, account management, or a related role.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education is a plus.

Experience working with insurance professionals, property managers, contractors, or other referral-based business networks is highly desirable.

Compensation & Benefits

Estimated annual compensation: $40,000–$100,000 Compensation consists of a base salary plus performance-based commission. Actual earnings will depend on experience, performance, and results.
