Job summary

PuroClean LA | OC | IE in Elyria, OH is seeking a project technician to support disaster response and restoration projects on residential and commercial sites. You will assist teams, maintain equipment, and ensure high-quality restoration services for customers in need.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and compassionate customer interactions, with on-call duties and hands-on training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in varying temperatures and environments.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; able to stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform disaster response, emergency mitigation, water extraction, structural drying, demolition, fire restoration, mold remediation, and biohazard cleanup.
• Set up, monitor, and remove drying and restoration equipment.
• Perform moisture mapping and document job progress.
• Remove affected drywall, carpet, flooring, insulation, and other materials as needed.
• Assist with pack-outs and handling customer belongings.
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with customers.
• Maintain clean, organized jobsites, vehicles, equipment, and shop areas.
• Follow company procedures and safety standards.
• Participate in after-hours/weekend on-call rotation.
• Work closely with supervisors and other technicians to complete projects efficiently.

Job Position Description

With a ‘One Team’ mentality, you will perform services as assigned while following PuroClean® production guidelines. Working to ensure all customer needs are met in a kind and sympathetic way, our project technicians assist their teams and supervisors with all aspects of restoration work on residential and commercial jobsites, as well as maintain vehicles, equipment, and assets of the business. Our technicians take pride in going above and beyond customer expectations in their times of need by providing a world class level of service which sets up apart from our competitors in the industry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and perform physically demanding work Comfortable working on ladders, in confined spaces, and in varying temperatures Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations

Restoration Experience Preferred, But Not Required

IICRC certifications, including WRT and/or ASD, preferred but not required

Compensation: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
