Business Development Manager – Insurance SaaS (U.S-based)

Location: Remote (U.S., Central or Eastern Time Zone)

Travel: Domestic travel required

Reports to: Senior Executive / C-suite

We’re looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead

new business development and sales initiatives for our cutting-edge SaaS

solutions to the U.S. insurance market. This is an exciting opportunity for a well-

connected sales professional who understands both the insurance sector and

software solution space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively generate new business opportunities within the insurance industry.
  • Manage the full sales cycle — from initial outreach to deal closure (via both in-person and virtual channels).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and industry experts.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and prepare tailored proposals that align with client needs.
  • Clearly articulate the value proposition and benefits of our core SaaS solutions.
  • Achieve sales targets and accurately forecast revenue and pipeline activity.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to generate leads and enhance brand visibility.
  • Collaborate closely with internal sales and marketing teams to align on lead generation and growth strategies.
  • Provide market insights and client feedback to support product development and marketing initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of successful sales experience in insurance SaaS or Insurtech (required).

Please note: Experience solely as an insurance agent will not be sufficient

for this role.

  • Deep understanding of the U.S. insurance market and tech solutionecosystem.
  • Strong network at the cross section of insurance and software solution providers.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive, hands-on approach.
  • Ability to work independently while staying connected to the team.
  • Willingness to travel within the U.S. as needed.
