About the Role

TaxCloud is looking for a driven Account Executive to join our growing sales team. As an AE, you’ll own the full sales cycle — from discovery to close — and will have the opportunity to learn how to sell in a high velocity sales motion within a competitive market.

In this role you will be selling to small business and mid-market e-commerce and SaaS businesses , typically ranging from $1M to $50M+ in annual revenue. You’ll work with founders, ecommerce operators, and sales tax professionals and will be responsible for helping them evaluate TaxCloud, understand how the platform can replace their existing sales tax processes and solution, and help them become long-term customers.

What You'll Do
  • Own the full sales cycle — qualify leads, conduct discovery, demo the product, and close new business
  • Manage a steady flow of inbound leads (and supplement with some outbound as needed)
  • Guide prospects through simple and sometimes more complex evaluations, using a consultative sales approach
  • Collaborate closely with leadership, product, and onboarding teams to win good fit customers and set them up for success with TaxCloud
  • Learn our product, industry, and integrations (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, QuickBooks Online) inside and out
What We're Looking For
  • 1–3 years of experience in a full-cycle SaaS sales role (SMB or Mid-Market)
  • A consultative, curious sales approach — you ask great questions and genuinely want to help
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-through
  • Ability to self-manage a pipeline and maintain consistent activity
  • Comfortable working in a fast-growing environment where things move quickly
  • Experience selling to e-commerce or finance/operations professionals or small businesses is a plus, but not required
