Job summary

Certerra is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand its Instrumentation & Monitoring practice across the Northeast U.S. You will build new client relationships, identify project opportunities, and drive revenue growth in heavy civil, transportation, tunneling, and energy sectors.

The role requires engaging owners, engineers, contractors, and public agencies to position Certerra as the preferred monitoring partner on complex infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of business development, technical sales, or project management in engineering, construction, geotechnical, or infrastructure services.
• Proven ability to develop and close professional service contracts.
• Strong understanding of construction, engineering, and infrastructure markets.

Responsibilities

• Develop regional business development plans aligned with Certerra's growth strategy.
• Identify and pursue new project opportunities; manage sales pipeline.
• Lead client presentations and coordinate with technical and operations teams.
• Develop and negotiate service agreements and contracts.
• Travel 40–60% to cover assigned territory.
