The Business Development Manager will lead the business development efforts to support USA Civil’s Business Plan. This individual will be tasked with managing and driving the business development activities to reach and establish relationships with high level clients and stakeholders. The BD Manager must be a flexible and adaptable team-player, as well as have strong communication and client contact/management skills. He/she will collaborate and work closely with the Business Development Director, Executive Vice President, Senior VP/GM, Operations VPs and estimators, and occasionally interface with other Skanska Business Development Managers & Directors.

Business Development Manager Required Qualifications:

      • Good understanding of the heavy civil infrastructure markets in the above: civil, tunneling, rail, bridge, highway/roads, water/wastewater, mechanical, marine, foundation, environmental, industrial and power
      • Good knowledge of the larger design firms and regional contractors who have operations in the region
      • Minimum 15 years of industry experience with a heavy civil infrastructure: design engineering, construction and/or construction department in government agency and 10 years of business development experience
      • Bachelor’s Degree (preferable) – Engineering
