Responsibilities
RTS Carrier Services and Shamrock Trading Corporation are seeking a Business Development Manager. This sales role involves prospecting, qualifying, and closing new accounts for RTS Carrier Services. The focus is on acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts within the assigned region. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, outgoing, ambitious, and dynamic in sales.
- Manage all sales processes from lead generation and prospecting to closing new accounts.
- Develop new business opportunities, negotiate terms, and lead negotiations.
- Identify strategic sales efforts and cross-selling opportunities across divisions.
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
- Use all required processes to maximize sales yield, aligned with senior management strategies.
- Participate in strategic planning, including market positioning, competitive analysis, customer segmentation, and penetration strategies.
- Assess market potential, pricing strategies, and profitability; document new business models.
- Assist in product marketing, launch management, presentations, sales tools, and competitive analysis.
- Continuously refine sales processes to stay ahead in relevant industries.
- Track metrics for all sales activities and programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of high-volume, transactional sales and business development experience.
- Proven success in professional, solutions-based sales over the phone.
- Experience with high call volume (cold calling) and face-to-face sales.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple product lines.
- Attention to detail, with an interest in comparative and value analysis.
- Passion for success and contributing to long-term organizational growth.
- Desire to work in a competitive sales and team environment.
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
